It's every designer's dream working on projects that involve special kinds of printing which is why foil print is such a big part of Brooke Stationery.
The traditional printing method has been around since the early 1900s. However, since then the process has developed allowing designers to be more creative!
For each design I create, a personalised metal plate is crafted and used to stamp into every one of your wedding invitations/stationery items. The process requires an extensive setup and you can come across obstacles along the way, so making sure the temperature and press time is perfect is essential because perfection is everything!
So… firstly you need to choose one of our colours that fits your wedding colour scheme. We offer 80 different foil colours allowing your stationery to match your other wedding accessories perfectly and because foil printing doesn’t use ink, your chosen foil colour will never alter!
Your foil film is positioned between the heated metal plate and our premium super smooth arctic white card. Your personalised plate is then pressed down using a manual machine allowing the foil to be stamped into your card. By using a manual machine, it means that every one of your invites are stamped with love, care and attention.
After each of your invites have been stamped and packaged, your unique invitations are ready to be sent out to your guests. How exciting!
